How to register an entity to RMEC

To register entities the following documents have to be submitted to the Town council of Palma:

  • Application for new registration correctly completed.
  • Copy of the statues in force normalized according to the legislation in force with the corresponding stamp of the organization which could be the Conselleria de Presidència, the Conselleria d'Educació, the Registre de Fundacions or whatever depending on the type of the entity.
  • Copy of the organism resolution referring to the entity inscription to the judicial entity registration.
  • Photocopy of the CIF entity.
  • List of members of the board of directors with DNI number of the president, vicepresident, secretary, treasurer and telephone numbers to contact the president and the secretary.
  • Act or certification of the session to which the board of directors in force was elected.
  • Declaration of the name of the members comforming with the association at the moment of inscription (this requirement is not necessary for foundations or federations).
  • Minutes of last year activities if it is not an entity of new creation.
  • Entities in the field of law will have to bring furthermore a certificate of registration in which the entity is inscribed and that accredited the opening of a Delegation in Palma..

These forms must be fill in by typwriter, computer or if presented by hand in capital letters which are clear and legible.

At the end of 30 days from the inscription application unless this period had been interrupted through the necessity to alter dificiencies in the documentation, l'Area de Participació Ciutadana has to decree the inscription of the entity in the municipal register of citizens identifications and this resolution has to be notified with the inscription number assigned. From this moment all effects are cosidered applied..
